This gave me an idea…fingerprints would be perfect for creating these little men!
So, for our word train today, I was given “England”
I wanted to play with simpler style, so here it is!

Anonymous asked: I really don't understand the problem people have with the anglophile phenomenon. I'm British and I think it's incredibly flattering that so many people around the world want to celebrate what they see as positive aspects of our culture and way of life, both past and present. We're all keenly aware of the faults in our own countries; seeing people from abroad really love and adore the positives of one's own country can be really heartening.

bless you, anon! you have no idea how refreshing it is to hear you say that :) i know there are more brits like you who feel the same way, but it’s easy to forget that when the prevailing opinion on tumblr seems to be that we’re a stupid, annoying lot. thanks for writing!! cheers, laura xx
posting your hate in the anglophile tag.
reblogging myself because there is a lot of flaming, angry hate in that tag right now and i know i shouldn’t let it bother me, but really, people? why is that necessary?
i think i might just stop tracking it for a while. maybe even for good. it’s more frustrating than enjoyable or useful at the moment.
Today’s RiptApparel shirt!
i know i’ve reblogged this photo before, but you may want to know that it’s available on a t-shirt today only at riptapparel.com! it’s only $10 and i am definitely ordering one even though i really shouldn’t but oh well i shall eat ramen for the next week.

Anglophile Problem 52:
Track the anglophile tag; disappointed at all the hate.
Seriously, that tag is a depressing combination of vitriol and vapidity.

i said i would find a way to use this at some point, and lo! an opportunity!
seriously, this stinks. but i don’t need to tell you that, i already wrote a post about it…
